Our Key Clamp fittings are a blackheart malleable iron casting manufactured to BS EN 1562:1997 using grade B32-10 material with a hot dipped galvanised finish to BS EN 1461:1999.

how does sizing work?

Key Clamp Fittings are available in five standard sizes designated by the suffix A27, B34, C42, D48 and E60 at the end of the SKU. The standard tube sizes are given in the following table.

how do they join together?

All of our fittings are supplied with stainless steel grub screws. The grub screws can be tightened with an Allen (hex) key, or fully tightened using a ratchet key to a torque of 4.1kg/m (29ft/lb) – when this is applied the grub screw is capable of withstanding an slip load of 900kg.
